On-tap at Terminal Bar, Denver, CO
A: The beer is crystal clear cherry red in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a narrow collar of white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Strong aromas of raspberry purée are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is very much dominated by flavors of raspberry juice. No other flavors seem to be perceptible.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and a little tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The name of this beer doesn't lie and it's all about the raspberries. It is very easy to drink and is a noice choice if you are looking for something fruity.

Really enjoy this beer. It has an awesome red color, enjoyable mild acidity, raspberry flavor and aroma. Great clarity, no head retention.

Drinks more like a fruit flavored pale ale than a "sour" wild ale.

they are calling this one a tart raspberry ale, and the flavor is excellent. its hard to tell if it has any wild yeasts or bacteria in it, or if its just the tartness of the fruit itself. my guess would be the latter, although its tough to tell, only mild acidity though. its crystal clear and hibiscus pink in color, looks like juice, and doesnt smell much different. tons of raspberry on it, almost no grain in nose or flavor that i can pick up, but i dont think the fruit is over dosed. its almost like one of those high fruit belgian beers, where thats kind of the point, and if thats what they were going for, they did a real nice job. insanely easy drinking as it doesnt have as much sweetness as it seems like it should. i miss the bubbles though. the one real negative here is the feel, its flat like juice too, and the result makes it seem a lot less like beer. more bubbles this would be really good summer beer. even in its current form, my girlfriend raved about it, so it has an audience for sure. not my favorite here, but a real interesting brew.
