Had CMS poured from 32-oz. crowler, filled at Alliance taproom, Date "10/5," gift from friends, into (airbnb) straight-sided water glass.
Pours cloudy melon-gold with 1 and 1/2-finger, creamy, meringue-like off-white head, with good retention, leaving sketchy lace down the glass. Aroma moderate juicy citrus off pour, then some pine resin, and hints of stone fruit and berries as warms. Begins with a wonderfully creamy body delivering crisp citrus over cracker malt, before a little pine resin leads through a sampler of sweet and sharp stone fruits into a crisp but not bitter finish.
Wonderfully creamy, but not juicy enough, really, to keep up with the (brewing) Joneses.
