My buddy and I stopped in at Bellwether while I was visiting him in Spokane a couple months ago. It’s not a huge place, but the taproom is modern with clean lines and a pretty chill vibe. We sat at the bar and the service was great: friendly and knowledgeable.
There were nineteen beers on tap when I was there, with all kinds of super interesting and unusual styles: a Kölsch braggot! A tea roggenbier! A sahti! Four different sours! Brut IPA! On top of those, a rice lager, a witbier, dubbel, imperial stout, a pale gruit braggot, an apricot hefeweizen, and others. I had a lilac cream ale (very good), a sour (good) and the roggenbier (also good!). I am definitely going to return to Bellwether the next time I’m in town to explore their extraordinary taplist.

Incredible brewery in a nondescript cinder block building on the north side of town. Small straight bar opposite the entrance seats about 8 a few tables about, and a nice outdoor space out back. 19 beers on tap (most interesting taplist I've seen at a brewery in a while). The yarrow gruit was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable bartender. Single cans to go.

Located in north Spokane this brewery has a large selection on tap. The selection encompasses many styles some of which I had never heard of. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to talk beer.

After haring someone at another brewery not recommend this place, it was one of the highlights of our trip to Spokane. Pretty spartan interior, bar and some tables, small patio. The tap list will keep you interested as it reflects quite a variety of styles and flavors. Very creative, and very tasty too. Great service. Looking forward to going back.

i love everything about this place, and while i am still only just beginning to explore the spokane beer scene, these guys have taken an early lead as one of my favorites. they have a cool space and all, sort of minimalist and clean looking, with some vintage decor, unique seating, and a lovely outdoor space in the back there, youd never know it was there driving by. there is a piano in the corner with some hipster blasting out pleasant jazz, and a list of beers to be excited about. they must have had three or four gruits on, that seems almost impossible to me, but its true, and a couple of honey beer/braggot types as well, lots of cool ideas and ingredients floating around the brew house here, and i liked everything i drank, not all were so ambitious, but everything felt inspired to me. i loved the albion gruit, the first sour one i can recall seeing, lots of heather and malt, really good. the coconut cream was also excellent, and a honey beer called four branches was equally impressive. i wish i had more time, as there were still so many cool beers to drink through on their menu, a surprisingly long list for a little brewery like this. the dude behind the bar was incredibly nice and welcome, is an owner if i remember right, and was just a joy to chat beer with. other patrons were also kind, and the vibe in here is really friendly, community focused, and beery. i cannot wait to go back here when i am town again next month, great vibe here, creative beer, good times! not to be missed if you are hitting breweries around the spokane area!

A small place in a somewhat run down portion of tow, currently undergoing street revitalization. It will be nice once that is donw, especially for the street side seating. Brewer focuses mostly on (centuries) old styles and recipes.
