Copenhagen 29/4 2021. 33 cl bottle from Beerdealer web-shop. Black label with a simple rendering of a golden spur.
Pours opaque, dark brown and a big off-white head. bubbly. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty mingling with sugary fumes and a sweet fruitiness. Brown sugar, caramel, banana. Metallic notes.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, watery, lively, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and caramel-ish. Finish is semi-dry.
Solid if not overly exciting Dubbel. Pretty light.
