Bottled and possibly bottle conditioned
Black bodied with splatterings of tan head
Smells like blackcurrant jam on freshly baked wholemeal bread
Similar flavour with a lovely big smokiness
Decent enough solid mouthfeel especially considering the strength
Really good stuff

330ml bottle from Beermoth, Manchester (£2.55):
Not a bad stout at all, probably a touch lighter than I'd have liked but the beer was a fairly complex one despite this & the nose in particular had a lot going for it. There was a solid sweetness & plenty of roasted flavours from the start with the beer & the bitterness was good too. A pleasant beer that's worth trying if you stumble across it but it's probably not one to go hunting for.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
