From a 330ml bottle.
L: Not quite black. Has a ruby sheen. Thin smear of mocha head and lots of lacing. Looks great.
S: Light treacle with a delicately smoky edge.
T: Sweet, toasted malt with a dry, bitter finish. Lightly smoked.
F: Medium/light body that smooths over the tongue and then clings briefly. Light carbonation.
O: The smoke doesn't dominate like many smoked beers. In this case, the smoke is a pleasantly gentle complement to a solid, smooth, highly drinkable English stout.

Bottled and bottle conditioned
A smoke stack stout
Lack bodied with surface tan head
Gorgeous aroma of good wood bonfire and treacle toffee
Nice slightly smoked flavour charcoal & sour plum
Easy drinking but more solid than a lot of 5% stouts
