Blind tasted. Lables don't get read until after this review is drafted.
L- Beware the sludgy bottom in the pour. Pours dark murky brown with a 3mm off-white head. Looks like a Long Island Iced Tea.
S- Quite fruity/bright. Perhaps wine barrel aged.
T- Damn the ABV attacks right on the front. [I involuntarily shudder]. It's not a sugar-bomb. There is a notable hoppy-dry/sour aspect here that avoids this being over rich.
F- Full-on yet the dry/slightly sour aspect balance away the risk of being over-rich.
O- One hell of an impact for 'a mere' 10.4%.
Bought from Trembling Madness, York 330ml bottle BB: Dec 2029
Now having drafted/rated the above I check the lables: Bottle Conditioned with clear warning re: pouring [doh, so much for complete blind tasting].
