Hi EmpBev, thanks for adding this one for me to get the 1st review in, much obliged, with a pic too ;;)

First point. This is quite possiblt the cutest beer latest I have laid eyes on; the level of detail in it and deep saturation of the colours is something else.
L- Pours very dark chestnut red with a brief patch of large bubbles. Soon cleared it closely resembles a Long Island iced tea cocktail.
S- Pungent malt whisky with a brighter aspect peeking through from behind. [By now there top of the poured beer is entirely devoid of any bubbles].
T- Phew!! First off there is a HUGE whisky aspect - BOOM! That is followed by what cannot be other (by now) than a relatively measured bitter/sour? wine-note of the barleywine style. Having said that is the whisky aspect weren't in it I expect the bitter/sour aspect would be properly loud too. Long/short, the taste is *notably* pungent.
F- It's more a slow-sipping winter beer rather than one for a warm June day. No discernible CO2 remains in this beer. The bottle is also made for sharing, 750ml is a lot of a mega beer to get through alone.
O- Interesting to try.... and it's not like I'll have any problem finishing it. BUT the beer is entirely dominated by it's HUGE whisky note, with not that much else able to get a look in. It's not even a particularly strong barleywine at just 9%. I wouldn't choose to drink it again, the whisky note really over-dominates all else here IMO.

p.s. I'm sure others may and will think this is heaven sent and good for you. Good luck all!
