Killarney Brewing Company

 

We were on a bus tour of Ireland and ended up with some free time in Killarney so the brewery with my Dad and brother it was. Just outside of the center of town on the main strip heading into or out of town. Small taproom with a dozen or so tables and maybe that many at the bar as well. Small yard outside with a few tables and a satellite bar that was closed when we were there. They had 8 beers on tap and would let you have a flight of 4 of their core beers or half or full pours of anything. I started with a flight then worked through sharing and sampling the others. Nice mix of styles, most were good to great : IPA, Stout, Helles, Winter Warmer, Blonde, Saison, and a Red Ale with Hazelnuts barrel aged. Service was decent but you had to initiate. I can't remember what we paid or if it was a value. I'd go back if I were in Killarney and maybe try the wood fired Pizza too.
