Nothing outstanding about this IPA but at least there are quality ingredients used. This a pretty much a basic California IPA, with the noticable and perhaps over-used Cascade hops. Nice overall beer none the less and nothing bad to say about it. I think I'll try the blueberry next.

Presentation: 22 fl.oz Bomber, with a generic dark red label that has the words Bagel Beer wrapped top and bottom around the picture of a Bagel. Allegedly the beer is actually made with a number of Everything Bagels being added to the brew. So there is a little bagel in every beer, as the blurb proudly states.
Appearance: A lovely clear orange golden body. The large off-white head forms quickly as it is poured. The head has a huge rocky surface that laces the glass walls with crusty formations.
Smell: The aroma is of fresh grass and hops with some citrus threads.
Taste: A hoppy introduction that has a pervasive bitterness. The middle oozes hops in a very controlled manner. An astringent dry bitter finish lingers for some time once the beer is consumed. Although Californian, this is not the run-of-the-mill overly hopped massive IPA, but a more delicately well-balanced one.
Drinkability: I found this offering to be highly drinkable. A clean, crisp well-balanced, hoppy IPA that drinks well has a great bitter finish. Very refreshing.
Overall: An excellent IPA, I already have a couple of other offerings from this Brewery which I have yet to try, but I will certainly be picking up some more of the IPA.
Everything IPA is just, well, everything IPA.
