Blended from two golden wild ales brewed with imported floor malted Pilsner, raw wheat, malted rye, and aged hops. After aging for several months in French oak puncheons, we dry hopped with whole leaf Eukanot hops. Eukanot contributes intense citrus character with notes of lemon and orange, candied tangerine, and papaya with light herbal undertones.

750 mL bottle. Pale golden yellow body with a little haze. Smells of orange, lime, lime acidity, orange peel acidity, and oak. Has that lemon-lime aroma that hoppy sours have. Tastes of strong lemon lime flavors with some citrus hops behind it. Oak and wine flavors peek through as the hops die off. A touch of sweet malts and a long oaky finish. High carbonation. Not quite the crisp body I expected for a light, hoppy golden sour, but it isn't heavy. It's good, though I was hoping for a bit more. Description says brett, so maybe it will be a touch more dynamic the next time I open one.
