This special version of our wild lager was brewed in June of 2017, and barrel aged for 22 months with our mixed culture. We then refermented on Angelcots (white-fleshed apricots) at a rate of 3 pounds per gallon of beer. Angelcots are a unique varietal of white-fleshed apricots from California that are incredibly juicy with a sweet honey, almost tangerine-like flavor.

375 mL bottle. Pours deep golden with a little bit of cloudiness. No head. Smells of apricots and lots of acidity. Some oak. Tastes very sour right up front. Puckeringly sour stone fruit. Oak tempers it a bit, but it's very sour. A little bit of dried grass. It's a pleasant flavor, but it's extremely sour.
