375 mL bottle. Deep brown with a purplish tinge. Smells of strong red wine, oak, dark fruit and red wine acidity. Tastes of the stout up front with roasted malt before red wine sourness takes over. Slowly turns to oak and cherries in the back end. The flavor transitions very nicely. Medium heavy. Strong sourness. It's slow to drink, but it's very well conceived. No flavor is overpowering, which I was afraid of when I opened it. Very good.
