375 mL bottle. Deep red. Small head. Smells of red currant and acidic red wine. Tastes of oak and Sangiovese up front before sourness kicks it. It isn't as sour as I thought it might be from the aroma, but the sourness it has hits you in the nose, like wasabi does. Red currant is the prominent sour flavor, cherry and red wine blend together. There's a little bit of cherry sweetness, actually. Medium body with medium low carbonation. Deep, heavy flavors slow it down. It's fine, but I don't love it.
