Odd Breed is proud to celebrate its second anniversary with this special beer inspired by our favorite Lambics of Belgium. We brewed with imported Pilsner malt and domestic raw wheat, and lots and lots of aged hops. We performed a traditional turbid mash, and fermented and aged the beer in our French Oak puncheons for 14 months. This beer is all about "Flavor from Fermentation."

375 mL bottle. Pours clear orange. Smells of lactic acidity, trending toward yogurt, oak, dried grass. Decidedly lambicky. Tastes of strong oak and dried grass. Fruity citrus and a touch of sweetness. Low acidity. Medium body. Very enjoyable and impressive. This beer manages to have a traditional lambic profile while incorporating Odd Breed's signature strong French Oak flavors.
