We blended two of our golden wild ales aged 14 months in French Oak puncheons, and then refermented this blend with organic mangos at a rate of 2.5 pounds per gallon of beer. The beer was transferred to a tank filled with fresh harvested wet Amarillo hops that were flown overnight from Washington State and added to our beer within 24 hours of being picked from the bine. Intense aromatics and flavors exude notes of ripe stone fruit, melon, and citrus.

750 mL bottle. Pours clear golden and fizzy, but loses its head quickly. Smells of mango, stone fruit acidic, citrus and dried grass from the hops. Oak permeates. Tastes of sharply sour up front, with mango sweetness behind it. Stone fruit sourness with some citric sourness. Oak softens it slightly, but it's very sour. Chewy citrus and grassy hops in the back end with sour mango lingering in the finish. Medium body, moderately high sourness. Nice fruit and hop profile, but pretty darned sour.
