This wild IPA was brewed with imported Pilsner, malted wheat, and flaked oats. Heavily hopped in the kettle with Mosaic, Simcoe, and Citra and open fermented in stainless steel with our house mixed culture and ambient microbes. Aged in French oak puncheons and dry hopped with Citra before refermenting Marionberries. This unique beer pours fluorescent red with ample pink foam and has tropical notes of mango and passionfruit intertwined with blackberries, blueberries, and lime zest. Our mixed culture provides mellow Brett funk and soft acidity.

375 mL bottle. Cap and corked IPA? I think that's a first for me. Pours bright purple. Smells of citrus and grassy hops, yogurt and berries, and some oak. Tastes of chewy grassy hops with some grapefruit mixed in. Berries throughout with a yogurty tartness. Light oak in the back end with some earthy yeast notes. Medium body. Light tartness. I didn't think I'd see the day when I was going to enjoy a sour fruited IPA, but this is really nice. No chunks of fruit, no murk, no lactose, and actually pours in liquid form. Well done.
