This golden wild ale was brewed with imported floor malted Pilsner, spelt, and rye, and was boiled with a combination of aged Styrian Golding and fresh Czech Saaz hops. After aging in French oak puncheons for nearly a year, we refermented with rhubarb and local wildflower honey and conditioned on Madagascar vanilla beans. Aromatics of sweet honey transition to notes of earthy and tangy rhubarb, vanilla, and our signature Odd Breed funk with moderate acidity.

375 mL bottle. Clear golden with a brief fizzy head. Smells of light basement funk, vanilla, oak, and a little rhubarb. Tastes bright and tart up front. Sour rhubarb that hits the nose. Vanilla tempers it a little. Fruity and floral notes behind it. Hefty and chewy oak flavor that dominates the back end. Medium body. Moderately sour. Light on the adjuncts, heavy on the oak, and pretty good all around.

On tap in Florida. Medium yellow/ gold in color with light head and nice carbonation.
I am in no way proficient in wild/ sour ales so take that into account.
Nice tart taste without being overly sour. Almost refreshing carbonation and mouthful.
Trying real hard to notice the flavors of what this was brewed with.
I do get a bit of the oak on the backend and a very slight hint of the rhubarb tartness upfront. The homey is very subtle so as not to add much sweetness but I am totally missing any sign if vanilla.
Overall worth tasting for me and nice on a hit sunny day. Seems though to be missing some of the described elements though.
