We decided to make a beer with the most fruit we can legally add without getting a winery license. This beer has more than 8 pounds of fruit per gallon of beer.
We blended a couple of barrel aged golden wild ales and refermented on top of an absurd quantity of ripe red raspberries. Even the foam in this beer is the color of raspberry juice, and the potent aroma of fruity berries and jam are unmistakable. While this beer is all about the fruit, our mixed culture provides some funk and thirst-quenching acidity.

750 mL bottle. Deep red and slightly murky. Smells of strong raspberry and lots of berry acidity. Hits the nose hard. Tastes of all raspberry. Nasal sourness. Too sour. Some oak. Medium body. Medium high carbonation. I really enjoyed the others in this series, but this is too sour.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
