This beer is made with the most fruit we can legally add without getting a winery license. Made with over 8 pounds of grapes per gallon of beer.

We blended a couple of barrel aged Lambic-inspired wild ales and refermented on top of an absurd quantity of locally grown red muscadine grapes. Even the foam in this beer is the color of muscadine grapes, and the intense aroma of wild berries and fruity funk are wholly unique. While this beer is all about the fruit, our mixed culture provides some Brett character and pleasant acidity.

750 mL bottle. Deep red, almost purple. Pinkish tint to a fleeting white head. Smells of red grape, berries, yogurt, and oak. Tastes of pleasant fruity sourness, lots of grape. A touch of yogurt and a long oaky back end. Well carbonated. Moderate sourness. This is surprisingly good. Heavily fruited sours aren't my thing, but this is quite pleasant. Nice grape flavor. Never too sour. Good stuff.
