Collaboration with Brekeriet
In Norse mythology, Ask and Embla were the names of the first two humans created by the gods. Embla is our fruited version that was refermented with Black Mulberries and Dark Sweet Cherries, along with a touch of Red Raspberries. This jammy wild ale is brimming with notes of berry preserves, cherries, and a multitude of dark fruits. Medium bodied and moderately tannic, this vinous and funky beer finishes with refreshing acidity.

750 mL bottle. Deep red. Smells of deep earthy berries and a sharp nasal acidity. Tastes quite sour up front. Hits the nose. Blackberries and cranberries, or something like that. Earthy and oaky behind it. Sourness drops after the initial burst and it ends up being moderately drinkable. Pretty good, considering my initial reaction to the sourness.
