Odd Breed is proud to celebrate our Third Anniversary with this special beer. This Wild Pale Ale was brewed with floor malted Pilsner, malted wheat, and flaked oats. We added plenty of Mosaic hops in the whirlpool, and then fermented and aged in French oak barrels for 2 years. Citrusy and exotic with notes of Sauvignon Blanc grapes, kumquats, and Meyer lemon with soft French oak tannins. Bright acidity and mellow tropical funk round out the palate on this nuanced wild ale.

750 mL bottle. Clear golden. Smells of oak, lychee, and light herbal hops. Tastes of oak, yogurt acidity, slightly fruity, and some stone fruit sourness in the back end. Medium body. Pleasant, but I expected a hoppier profile. It's a very nice golden ale.
