A: The beer is nearly black when viewed from afar, when held up to a bright light it is clear dark red in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a short beige head that quickly died down, leaving delicate lacing on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some specks down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of rosemary are present in the nose along with notes of piney hops.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of rosemary with notes of floral and piney hops. There are some hints of tea and bits of caramel malts. The hops contribute a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The aromas and flavors of rosemary in this beer make it very interesting and unique. It's not as malty compared to other beers in the style.

Serving type: bottle

Dark amber copper color with a beige thick head with decent retention.
Nice aroma with notes of grapefruit, pine, toasted malts and rosemary.
Hoppy flavor with notes of toasted and caramels malts, lots of pine, resin, full of spices, grapefruit, white grapes and tea bags. Quite dry aftertaste with a long lasting bitterness. Alcohol of 7% is well hidden.
Light body with appropriate carbonation.
Good American Red Ale, boldly hopped and spiced. Worth trying. I would just increase the body a bit to better balance it.
