a spiced up dry stout. on tap at birreria volo. some mouthfeel and black pepper. not so balanced for drinkability. lasting head. warms to much licorice flavour.

On tap at the brewery
Pours black with a thick, creamy mocha head, nice retention and lacing. The nose and taste are dominated by roasted malt, sweet grains, milk chocolate, cocoa nibs. The coffe really comes through one the finish with a bit of bittering hops drying this sweet stout out a bit. The oatmeal has really given this beer a smooth rich mouthfeel. This a great sweet stout! I can't wait for the barrel aged version.
