On tap at NBBC, on to the beer;
It sure it dark in this one! It's black! Barely a trickle of lacing. Its aroma is what I've coem to expect from a dunkelweiss....banana, apples, plums, plus the addition of cocoa. the taste....was a tought one to rate. As the beer as was cold, I could taste that awful infection flavor (rubbing alcohol) in the background. It could have been alcohol, and a batch that tured out less than optimal. But as it warmed, it didn't taste infected, but rather chewy. Apples and a tint of coffee beans with a meaty body best descibe this beer without the infection.
Well, that was a bummer. Drinkable when warm, flawed when cold. Take out the rubbing alcohol nuance, and this become a much better beer.
