On-tap at Newport Beach Brewing Co.
A: The pour is a clear amber color with a medium sized off-white head.
S: Citrus notes start things off here. Grapefruit peel is mostly what I get with a bit of tangerine as well. Sweetness in the form of toffee and caramel with a light breadiness. Fairly sweet overall.
T: Sweet toffee and caramel malt flavors, along with a bit of bread, make up the bulk of the flavor profile. Some good grapefruit hop notes as well as some orange peel and a moderate bitterness.
M: Medium in both body and carbonation.
O: Fairly standard red/amber ale, and a decent choice if you're at Newport.
