Nice looking pounder can that makes me immediately think “orange”. Can reads Blood Orange and Tangerine double dry hopped with citra and azacca. Let’s give er a try. Wonderful hazy darker golden ”orange” with a thinning just offwhite head, this beer looks inviting. Now for the scent. Oranges and citrus,slight sweetness, still inviting. Fair warning, these blood orange beers usually fail for me in the flavor department and this one has a really sweet edge to it with just low bitterness. It’s almost seems as if the sweetness just overpowers the rest of the beer(almost medicine like). This beer has some body to it(medium) with lower carbonation. I also think 7.1% for a double, this beer just doesn’t have enough kick. Was glad to try it though compliments of my friendly neighbor Sam.
