With the contents of a pint can now emptied into a clear glass liter mug, a thinly colored reddish mauve liquid is seen. There's plenty of carbonation, but no head. The aroma, although not particularly pungent, brings about equal parts lime and cherry. There's a vague additional part to smell, perhaps saltiness, or maybe it's just the sour aspect. It drinks lightly and more citrus than berry. It's both mildy sour and mildly tart, with the sour the one that lingers at the finish. This would go across the tongue way too lightly, were it a stout or IPA. But here, it fits the refreshing attribute of this specific style quite nicely. Your socks are going to stay on, but this is a very refreshing kettle sour. A little more cherry in the taste would have helped, but that's subjective.
