Contrastingly, there's an almost stark white head on top of a dirty brown-amber colored liquid. Such are the results of a pour that emptied the entire contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug. Although modest, the head is enduring. Not only is this hazy, it's densely opaque. Although not pronounced, the aroma is a nice balance of starches and hops. It's earthy and somewhat dank, in a pleasant way. That's basically its taste. There's a starchy backbone that likely includes some barley, with a delightful blend of hops that include citrus, pine and resinous references. Overall, it's both sweet and bitter, with a solid, yet not too heavy mouthfeel. There's even some appreciable glass lacing. The ABV is so nicely included into the taste and body, it's almost unnoticed. There's absolutely nothing wrong here and plenty that's good. Here's to at least another ten years.
