There are plenty of categories, already, but Imperial Stout likely should be another among the many. Regardless, a full pint can was emptied entirely into a clear glass liter mug. It's solidly black coffee brown in color, with a modest, but enduring tan head. The listed additional flavors overdo the basic roasted malt and hops of an Imperial Stout. It is a self-described Dessert Stout, after all. Within a very rich and smooth body, the Cinnamon, brown sugar and vanilla, in that respective order, are there, just as advertised. What's not there to taste is the high alcohol level and hops. There's barely much bite from the roasted barley malt, as the pronounced Cinnamon matches, or supercedes that. Although rich and smooth in body, there's very little glass lacing. This is exactly what the label tells it is, a dessert Imperial Stout. It's very sweet and flavorful, delivering an alcoholic kick that's much more noticed by one's overall feelings than it is on the tongue. This is recommended for those that like this style of beer and a warning to those that don't.
