L- Quite rich orange/gold. Pours quite hazey despite being rested/chilled for a couple of weeks. 1mm white head of froth.
S- I really struggle to get any smell from this, all I get is something of a very mild fruit note.
T- The fruit note^ comes through, what is it? Over towards apple, richer... oven baked apple? Then on the heels of that subtle note comes a pretty rich jolt of ABV% which preoccupies the palate for a few seconds. That ABV% zing of course begins to happen in beer from about 7.5/8% and up, but this zing is pronounced for 'just' 8.5%
F- The dune rabbit is a pretty big beast. It's solid and meaty and has a forceful character. It's towards the kind of slow-sipping beer I favour in colder seasons. As this one warms (from well chilled to chilled) it's fast getting richer in the glass.
O- Very nice, pretty bold but in a polished enough way it never threatens to be OTT. Nothing out of place or balance to note. Lovely.
330ml bottle BB: [@cap] 09/07/2022. Bought from BelgiumInABox Antwerp/BE for home delivery to me in London/UK.
