L: A dark honey-gold with two fingers of sudsy ivory froth. Good retention and partial arcs of lace on one side of the glass.
S: primary aroma for me is tobacco, followed by some citrus and pine. Strange one. A little tinny-ness also.
T: Loads of bittering hops up front with pine resin, smaller citrus note and a wet stone tobacco influence in there. If I breathe in while drinking it it’s a very apparent cigarette smoke experience.
F: Easy drinking middle lightweight if not for the intensity of the dry bitterness.
O: Despite my disdain for cigarettes, it’s still not a bad brew and quickly drinkable, but I’d opt for another selection next time around.
