Cleart amber brew with adequate foam in the Stella Artois goblet. Pleasant grainy and biscuity aroma with alfalfa nose. Substantial body and usual spritz on the tongue. Starts with a brief malty sweetness but soon descends into a very bitter hole. The brewery calls this a "piney NW Style pale ale made with Columbus and Simcoe Hops" There is just too much hops. I guess you could say the taste is earthy and peppery, but unfortunately it's so bitter as to be undrinkable after half a glass. From the 32 oz crowler filled at the brewery taproom.
