15th Dec 2012 at The Essen Christmas Beer Festival.
Poured a dark reddy brown with a thin beige head.
Sweet nose and taste: caramel to the fore with candid fruit notes as back-up.
There is also a yeast feel to the whole brew: came across a little 'green' and not quiet ready to drink, but I drank it anyway. A mild bitterness arrived towards the end of each sip and although it wasn't one of the best beers I sampled that day I actually enjoyed it more than some others.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
