Gold Creek Ale pours a gold color, with a small, but long lasting head. Aroma has notes of butter and grain. Flavor is buttery, nice crisp malt notes. A bit light. Overall, a very nice lighter beer.

Poured from 12-ounce bottle into a fluted glass. Clear golden color, with a voluminous white head that left some sticky lacing as it settled to a thin ring. Lovely aromas and flavors of biscuity malt, with grassy and herbal notes and a hint of apple cider. Understated hop bitterness, slightly sweet, and a dry finish with a touch of fruity tartness on the aftertaste. Very refreshing, with a pilsner-like quality. In a word, outstanding.

Had on tap at brewery. Pours clear, light yellow in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is honey, grass, and grain. Light bodied, sweet, with moderate carbonation. This one drinks like a German Pilsner. Great beer post hike. Had several of these.

Howler purchased at Liquor Shed, $5.
It pours a crystal clear 18K gold with a +1 finger head of foam. I see zero bubbles cascading to the top. A bit strange.
The smell is of grapefruit, pine, perhaps a bit of fruitiness is there but I'm not sure because it does have a strong hoppy aroma.
The taste differs in that the strong hoppy aromas are more at ease and a good light bready and grainy character comes through. I'd still say that this is more hoppy than malty but it's close.
Light bodied, light carbonation, it gets a tad watery in the finish but I expected that considering the low abv.
Well then, this Howler isn't lasting long...that speaks volumes to where the drinkability lies. Very well worth the $2.50 per pint.

Pours golden with thin head. Some lacing sticks.
The smell is mild, but pleasant. A touch of citrus, some grain.
The taste is a balance between citric/lemon-y hops and sweet bready/cracker-like malt. Crisp, refreshing finish.
It has a creamy, light body. Exceptionally smooth. Fits the character of the beer very well.
A nice, refreshing, enjoyable, balanced, "session" brew. A blonde ale that approaches a pale ale. Better than many others of the style that I had.

Bar pour's kind of head in a sample glass at the brewery.
It had a light golden yellow color with some light lacing here and there.
The smell had some sweet grainy sort of light citrus.
The taste was slightly bready sweet and then a light citrus on the back end.
The mouthfeel was slightly crisp and light, slightly creamy and comes across fairly smooth.
Overall, good American Blonde Ale that I would have again.

I had this beer on-tap in the Alaskan Lounge at Sea-Tac Airport.
Appearance: metallic golden hue with no haze and a rather light effervescence. Head is a thin finger of creamy white foam with a nice lace left on the glass, but not great retention. Color is quite nice, though.
Smell: lightly fruity malt aroma. Not a whole lot going on here, but it's nice.
Taste: malty with a pretty forward fruity character. There's a berry like quality along with a little bit of banana. Pretty full-flavored for an American blonde ale, which I happen to really like.
Mouthfeel: light body but with a huge, well-integrated carbonation. As creamy as I like 'em!
Overall: a bit sweet and fruity, but it's a blond ale with a lot of character. I can dig it.
