I recently purchased my first growler and what was my first beer. Yes, this one.
This was poured into a pint glass and a snifter. Honestly, there was barely any difference between the two glasses.
The appearance was a sharp looking colorful bronzed orange with a thin white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light speckled spider web lacing roaming around my glass.
The smell definitely had the rye there. A light grassy and somewhat spicy edge of citrus invaded my nose as well.
The taste was mainly spicy with a touch of sweet grassy citrus.
The mouthfeel had a good enthralling sharpness like an AIPA but also having the rye to give off a subtle sharp spiciness to roll over my tongue.
Overall I say this was a pretty good Rye AIPA that I would have again.
