A semi-aggressive pour from the 12 ounce stubby into a pilsener sampling glass produces a short, creamy, long-lasting head. The beer is a ruddy pale amber color with light carbonation.
A pineapple-like or star fruit aroma is prevalent, and is accented by floral and citrus notes. The fruit notes carry over into the flavor, which is lightly fruity. Beneath the fruit is a light bready malt presence. The mouth feel is in the medium range, with a bit of froth and some lingering mild bitterness on the back of the tongue.
This beer is well-balanced, with plenty of subtle complexity. A good quaff on a warm summer day. I purchased this as part of a variety 12 pack.

Poured from a bottle into a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, slightly murky, pale copper coloring with a low profile, clingy, white head. Aromas of orange juice, mossy greens, melon, mango, and seaweed. Flavors are a muted blend of tropical fruit sweetness forward, most notably papaya, mango, and melon, with a subtle citrus follow. Grassy and herbal hops notes follow, providing a subtle bitterness for balance. The body is light and effervesced, providing a frothy feel into the finish. Melon and tropical fruit sweet aftertaste that is subtle, but tasty. The hops profiles are interesting, but there just isn’t enough meat on this one’s bones for me. It would be pretty tasty amped up a bit, IMO.

Received as a surprise inside one of their sampler packs - didn't even know this beer existed, feature Azacca hop - not too common so kudos to them for doing it.
A = nice orange, medium honey color, whitish head.
T = balanced, hoppy but not too bitter, drinkable.
M = good mouth feel, enough carbonation without being fizzy, medium body.
S = hops forward, nothing remarkable but nice.
O = 3.9 )a little bonus for bringing Azacca to the table)

Poured into a pub glass
Look: Nice Amber hue. Thin head. Little carbonation.
Smell: Mild citrus with hints of malt. No hops.
Taste: Medium malt. Kinda sweet. Not bad, but a bit disappointing that there was so little hop presence.
Feel: Light. A good summer brew.
Overall: Again, not bad. I was hoping for more.

I poured this from a bottle into a clear teardrop glass. It pours a golden orange. The taste is a perfect blend of citrus and hops, not overpowering on either of those sides of the scale. I'm not into real hoppy beers, and this is just right. I'm not into real citrussy beers either, which makes this perfect. I will seek it out!
