Poured from 12oz bottle into pint glass. A 1" off white head drops quickly with no lacing. Color is hazy amber with mild streaming carbonation. Pick up the cranberry and spruce in the aroma along with malt. Light bodied with a drying finish. Flavor is fairly mild cranberry comes across as more sweet than tart, spruce is also noticeable, malts in the background and hops are nearly unnoticeable.

Poured from 12-ounce bottle into a tulip glass. The color, as best I can describe it, is a slightly dark yellowish-orange with a light pinkish tinge. Aromas and flavors are fruit forward. Tart cranberry up front, with a little light bready malt and floral notes complementing it. As this warms from fridge temperature, a little resiny bitterness begins to come through on the back end. None of these elements overpowers the others. The flavors and aromas are in balance and quite delicate. A very nice sipper on its own, but would pair well with lighter fare as well. Well done!

On-tap at Three Cellars, Franklin, WI:
Pours hazed amber with a thin head. Trailing lace sticks.
The smell is of cranberry with caramelized toast in the back.
The taste is of light, tart cranberru with a balancing sweetness. I don't know if I would have caught the subtle hint of spruce if it had not been mentioned.
Crisp, light and smooth. This is a nice easy-drinking unique brew.

Several samples at the Brewery.
The appearance had a hazy orange color with a slim foamy white head. It left some slight lacing here and there.
The smell started off with the spruce but that was pretty light. The cranberry is there, lightly.
The taste was sweet and sprucy. Decent to say the least. There was a light sweet cranberry and slight cherry in the aftertaste (not sure where I got the cherry and was unsure if that was intended or not), anyways. It leaves a slight wet finish.
The mouthfeel was about a light to medium in body with a nice sessionable aspect to it. The carbonation was good to me as it didn't have anything too harsh as the spruce carried a decent spritzy connotation to it.
Overall, I dig this as a herbed/spiced beer. I'd have it again.
