16 oz can, best by 10/7/21, into Ghost In The Machine rastal.
Tall creamy head there, counting about 3 fingers, with a glowing amber-gold color.
Aroma is sweet passion fruit, with hints of vanilla and gristy pale malt.
Flavor starts off well-enough, with sweet vanilla, floral notes, and passion fruit dancing together on the front palate...then it gets weird. Floral notes turn muddy and piney, and the passion fruit sourness kicks in. Canned pumpkin joins the party. Essentially 1/3 blonde, 1/3 kettle sour, 1/3 pumpkin beer. Notes of passion fruit, kiwi, and acetobacter on the finish with some more gourd and vine following.
Feel is wet, crispy, semi-creamy. No alcohol. Nothing majorly weird here.
Overall, this was just okay, and I wouldn't return to it. The fact that I'm getting pumpkin and kettle sour notes is all you need to know. Bah.
