Ascender Pale Ale takes drinkers to new heights of hop flavor and aroma with Loral, Amarillo, and El Dorado hop additions. Hints of strawberry hard candy and lemony bright citrus elevate the inspired hop flavor of this light gold pale ale. 40 IBU

Best By 081026. Poured at 46 degrees.

Look: Excellent. Clear bright yellow with a high white head that has excellent retention and leaves thick lacing.
Smell: Great. Strong bitter dank hops with a bit of berry.
Taste: Sweeter malts take the lead, but there are still a lot of good hops present.
Feel: Outstanding. High in the mouth with smaller, smoother carbonation.
Overall: The taste is fine but it’s a bit of a let down when compared to the other masterful aspects of this brew. Definitely an easy recommendation. One of my favorites from Alaskan.

I got three cans of this beer from a mixed adventure 12pck that i bought from my local meijer store. It poured a golden color with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had mild citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet malt base with subtle sweet citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Bright gold color, with a moderate cm of head. Ripe fruity hop nose. Taste really reflects the hops. Not a hazy but it has much of a similar taste, without being too bitter. I don't find this one very interesting, but I appreciate the lower strength.

Best by September 15th 2025.

Pours a clear pale gold a 2 finger head of foam, very good retention, some lacing.

Smell is grapefruit citrus, pine, toasted malt and some dank notes.

Taste is grapefruit, pine, some dank notes, toasted malt, quite solid of an APA.

Good medium body, I might want to drink this again but it's a limited release.

Clear gold pour, finger if white foam, steady carbonation. Nose offers citrus and floral.

Taste sees berry, earthy dankness, citrus, light kilned malt. Mouthfeel us light but a little oily on the tongue. Finish is just more of the same, medium citrus bitterness is fairly short lived in length.

Aroma is floral/piney/classic West Coast style hops. The flavor is citrus/fruit, malts, a hint of tropical fruit and a piney/dry classic West Coast hop finish.
