Class 5 Pale Ale delivers a flood of strong tropical and citrus flavors with an undertow of light sweetness navigating an exciting taste experience. It’s propelled by Australian Eclipse hops bringing the flavors of sweet mandarin, citrus peel, and fresh pine, as well as hints of kiwi and grapefruit. Additions of Strata hops lend more citrus, passion fruit and strawberry flavors, while the Simcoe hops provide inviting flavors of stone fruit, pine, and apricot to this new year-round release. Its golden hue comes from a malt build of Pale, Carapils, and Malted Wheat.

Best By 081026. Poured at 48 degrees.
Look: Clear bright yellow with a high white head that has excellent retention and leaves phenomenal lacing.
Smell: Great mix of hops and fruit.
Taste: Solid. Follows the nose with fruit upfront and a good bitter hoppy finish. Maybe just a bit too sweet though.
Feel: Medium in the mouth and highly carbonated with excellent gentle bubbles.
Overall: Another fine beer from this variety pack. I’d definitely recommend trying this brew.

Sampled at the Green Bay tasting from a 12 ounce can into tasting glass. Pours clear golden orange color with a small dense off white head with good retention and spotty soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of red grapefruit, lemon, tangerine, pear, melon, berry, citrus peel, peppercorn, pine, cracker, herbal, floral, grass. Light to medium pine herbal grassy bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body. Fairly crisp clean refreshing finish. Balanced grainy malt and sticky resinous hop mouthfeel. No hop astringency. Feels like a classic simcoe pale ale. Really enjoyable.

One of four in the Alaskan Adventure Pack purchased for $4.99 at Woodies. Clear yellow pour, nice white head some lacing. Nose was floral and pine as was the flavor. I thought this was terrific.

I got three cans of this beer from a mixed adventure 12pck that i bought from my local meijer store. It poured a golden color with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had mild citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet malt base with subtle sweet citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Pours a lightly hazy orange, good head of foam, good retention and lacing.
Smell is very hoppy with citrus, bitterness reminds me of dry hopping.
Taste is citrus, pine, again has that dry hopped flavour to it, bit of tropical fruit and toasted malt.
Good mouthfeel, good beer.
Drank at Mountain Hops Brewhouse.

Hazy orange color, with a decent head. Nose offers bright piney, tropical fruit hops. Very tropical fruit hop flavor up front, to the exclusion of everything else. Not well-balanced, and almost harsh in the flavor. Tart, dry finish. Not overly strong or heavy, but I did not find this a pleasant drinking experience.

12 oz can into a tulip glass.
L: SRM 5 pours 95% clear caramel color with a domed 1/4" off white head that has very good retention, a steady carbo bubbles mix, head is rocky and gets creamy, medium-heavy complex lacing.
S: Fruity, citrus, caramelized malts, candied fruits, cookie dough.
T: Taste follows aroma plus pale sweetness, a light distant bread dough note, very light hop bitterness fills out the finish. The fruit tastes are wet.
F: Brisk then smooth and quite soft in a medium bodied mouthfeel that has a lightly dry and plump finish.
O: This beer is well-rounded on every level. Very smooth drinking and mellow tasting. Soft water. Great balance and tastes. It is excellent in its style.

Aroma is very dank/nutty hops and citrus. The flavor is fruit/citrus, malts and a very dank/nutty/bitter hop/bordering on salted peanut in the finish.
