750 mL bottle. Pale hazy yellow. Smells, oddly enough, of toast. Lemon. Light passion fruit. Taste had a lot more passionfruit. Very wheaty. Lemon tartness. Light brett. Light body and well carbonated. They weren’t shy with the passionfruit, which is nice.

A: Pours clear with a slight chill haze a very pale yellow under a 1/4" thick white head which fades to the rim and leaves spotty lace.

N: Mild passion fruit and tropical.

T: Fruity with a slight tartness.

M: Light body and a prickly finish.

O: Enjoyed.

Poured out as a hazy yellow with a thin white head on top. The smell of the beer has a good amount of funk on the nose with some subtle passion fruit in there as well. The taste really pushes the passion fruit along with the tart funkiness from the lacto. The feel is light bodied and very refreshing. Overall I thought this was a killer brew.

Bottle.

A: Moderate passion fruit upfront, with a moderate, funky, lacto sourness aroma

A: Pale straw color, totally clear with a moderate white fluffy dense head that has solid retention. Moderate lacing in the glass.

T: Moderate passion fruit flavor upfront followed by moderate clean lacto sourness that lingers through the finish.

M: Light bodied with moderately high carbonation.

O: Tasty; the beer is fairly balanced and the passion fruit accentuates rather than dominates the Berliner base beer. The beer could be even beer if it had a bit more complimentary wheat flavor.
