another killer wild beer from these guys, this one has a little less developed lambic style to it, which is what i am getting to know these guys for and why i keep seeking out their beer, but that doesnt make this any less awesome or complex. really pretty labels on these little bottles. this is a wild beer with raspberries and mosaic hops, and i was immediately surprised by the prevalence of hops. its usually either fruit or hops, and rarely lots of both, but that is the case here. mosaic hops for sure to my palate, and in front of even the fruit, which seems as natural and real as it does in all of their beers, but less intense than many of them too. the hops are lemony and fresh, subtle pineapple and vanilla notes too in here, and some cool acidity from the bacterial and the berries alike that seem to highlight the hops really well. cool funkiness, younger tasting than others to me, sweet for a second, and then oddly but enjoyably bitter from the hops at the end. really unexpected in that way, but really tasty. great carbonation too, these guys do a great job with that across all of these it seems like. i cant get enough from beachwood right now!

A: Hoppy with notes of tropical fruit and dank, coupled with fairly assertive brett and light raspberries.
A: Bright pinkish-red color, opaque, with a thin rocky white head that quickly dissipates into the glass.
T: Light hop flavors of tropical fruit and dank, moderate brett funk, coupled with moderate raspberries, and a dry finish.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: Solid; the dry-hopping adds an interesting dimension to raspberry sour, though the brett is a little too assertive and takes away from the beer's balance.
