On-tap at Black Hammer Brewing, San Francisco, CA
A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a thin bright white head that died down, leaving a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of sourness are present in the nose.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste is sour and has notes of lactobacillus.
M: It feels light-bodied and a little tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. The lactobacillus lends some faint hints of creaminess.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and the sourness and tartness lend some refreshing quantities. This would make for a nice summer beer.
