L - straw gold coming out of the can. End result is a brownish gold in the glass. Particularly loud head! Sounds like Rice Krispies.
S - immediate aromas of wheat and coriander. Herbal fruits. Again with the Juicy Juice. White grape.
T - aged mature grapes. Taste almost seems like an extension of the nose. We had wheat up front, then juice, and now it continues with grapes and musty woodlands, finishing with apple. Distinctly vinous, most likely because the head brewer also owns the winery in the same building. I'm not a betting man, but I'd say this was aged in those very wine barrels! Ohoho!
F - low carb for a saison. Drinks almost like something with a little more hops. Light enough to make it drinkable.
O - the more I drink this, the more it tastes like one of the white wines I had in the wine sampler at Honora. Not getting much "saison"... it appears to be a "wine beer", mostly created to showcase the effect barrel aging can have. It's good, but lacking.
