A hoppy Red Ale with a dark undercurrent of roasted barley. Unfiltered, unpasteurized.

This is a Red IPA (BJCP 2015, Style 21F for details). Deep ruby red with a good head and lacing. Reasonable citrus hop nose. Smooth medium malty body with a pleasantly crisp hop finish. Ignore the naysayers, this is a good beer!

Serving Type: 473 mL Can
A- Pours a Reddish Brown topped by a creamy white 1/2 finger head with decent retention. Light lacing.
S- Sweet caramel malts with a good punch of pine hoppiness.
T- Same as the aroma. Definitely more hoppy than I was expecting. To me, there is hardly a differentiation from the taste of a full blown American IPA. The sweetness is the only thing that is unique. Not bad, just different.
M- Moderate carbonation and medium body.
O- If you're an IPA fiend but want a little change, go for this beer. If you are looking for a malt forward brew (i.e. most other Red Ales), this isn't it. Good beer, just not what I was expecting out of a Red Ale.

Dull, lifeless beer.
Poured from 500ml can, absolutely no carbonation, if it wasn't for the colour and the hop taste, I'd swear I was drinking water.

Another beer with an awful taste of hop. Some people like the hop taste, but I have a hard time to get use to this bitterness taste when it is too much.
The company is at 350 Km from my hometown and this is my first time trying it.
The 473 ml can is availbale witha plastic coating (heated shink). The ABV is 6.0 %.
This American Red Ale is not part of my top ten for sure.
