A- Pours a cloudy light-brown with a fizzy head (like a soda). No lacing.
S- Not much for an aroma. Slight chocolate note, sour tang. You really have to get your nose in there to smell anything.
T- A solid punch of sour, salty tanginess up front finished by a hint of sweet chocolate. Extremely tasty.
M- Moderate carbonation and light body.
O- This brew is my first Gose but not my first Sour, so I pretty well knew what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the new dimension that the saltiness gave to the beer. The chocolate wheat malt was also a nice touch that brought forth a beautiful finish. Crossing my fingers that Maybee will brew more sours!
