Bottle conditioned. Almost black. Very thick, very dense tan head which slowly subsides to a thin layer.
Vibrant aroma of stoned and autumn fruits, chocolate and a touch of aniseed.
Taste is a less robust version of the aroma. Some stale coffee is also noted.
Wonderful bottle conditioned feel. Moderate to full bodied.
An excellent porter that deserved the years cellaring I gave it.
