Copenhagen 7/6 2021. 44 cl can from Mad & Vin, Magasin, Kbh. K. Crudely drawn monkey paw picking a vey red hop flower on the can.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow wit a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, slightly fermented odor of tropical fruits mingling with fresh citric scent. Blood orange and peach. Mango. Citrus and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, smooth, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undertone. Lingers for while. Finish is soft and dry.
Not exactly pretty and rather flat. But compensates with a lot of flavor and intensity.

Aens Ol, Copenhagen - Pours hazy amber with a small white head. Medium carbonation. Nice lacing. Smell - citrus to the fore, tropical and zesty. Taste - citrus again here with a lovely slight bitter finish. Brilliantly made and a lovely well balanced ale.
