Poured a golden orange body with one finger head and lace ring down glass. Tropical fruit aroma first hits me and then something like caramel or toffee - minimal hop aroma. Fuller bodied, not sticky or cloying but definitely heavier than your average IPA, this isn't a bad beer but it's more pale ale than IPA b/c the sweetness from malts and the hops (again, more tropical than grapefruit) overpower any citric/dry/bitter flavor of hops. Beer finishes clean and slightly dry and isn't bad, just not great.
